Okay im sorta a marvel nerd, but I say 12+I dont think bad language is a good reason to go higher since lots of kids hear all that around their parents anyways. Its a good movie, promotes a good lesson, and pushes the marvel cinematic universe forward.

Good movie, especially if you’re into super heroes. Fairly clean with minimal cussing and violence.

PARENTS, PLEASE READ!
Alright, this movie is judged way too harshly. And when I say judged harshly, I'm not talking about the quality of the movie, I'm talking about parents who overreact and rate this movie 14+ because it says the word "p*rn" ONCE. First of all, this movie has some swearing in it, but that's normal for any movie that has a rating higher than G. Second of all, "f*ck" is indirectly said by a teen girl who says she wants to "F" Thor, Parents, your child (if under 12) most likely won't understand and will just keep watching the movie, if they DO ask you what "F" means, just say they'll find out when they're older. Third, at the end there is a cutoff of Aunt May saying "What the Fu-", but it's really tame to be honest. There IS blood in the movie but it's not blood/gore like you see in R rated movies. Now, back to Ned (Peter Parker's best friend in the movie) saying he was searching up "p*rn", your child 9 times out of 10 will not get the reference and continue watching the movie. Flash Thompson also says "Penis" in the movie, but, c'mon. I'm pretty sure everyone knows the meaning of the word "Penis". And if your child starts saying "penis" commonly after watching this movie, that's on you for not telling them to not say that.

This movie I found to be really good. it was very jump in kind of. I wish that they added kind of a how Peter Parker became Peter Parker movie because this one was just okay. we're here. I didn't really find two interesting but I did find it. good violence was pretty high but not too high that I would not recommend it for anyone 10 and up. like I said my other one 9 or 8 is there mature? depending on how parents feel about kids watching this? I feel like it was great. characters are really great. I really love the vulture villain in this. and the plot twist with the girl spoiler. but if you like Tom Holland movies and you like the marvel movies specifically Spider-Man, it's just a great movie to jump into when you're feeling bored. or you just want to watch the whole series. so overall great movie. not too much romance. I think some kissing but nothing beyond that. 10 violence is pretty heavy like most marvel movies so I would recommend parents beware of that as well as kids. but like I said, great movie message role models great where Peter learns that he doesn't need a suit to be Spider-Man. he can be spider-man all his own and he wants to be more than Spider-Man and he sticks up for people. even though everyone's not listening to him. really brings out. the kids are right too. message listen to kids. I think that was really the whole point of this movie for it to point out like the kids have a good saying this too part. like I said, it was a great movie. recommend it like all the Spider-Man movies and marvel movies are all great in general.

“Okay, Spider-Man! Do a flip! Yeah!”
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a 2017 superhero action comedy film directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, Laura Harrier, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau and Tony Revolori.Language(3/5): The film has 3 uses of “a**”, 2 uses of “s**t”, “damn” and “hell”, and 1 use of the middle finger gesture, “b**ch”, “d**k”, “a**hole”, “oh my G**” and “bastard”. There is also a use of “what the f-” that is cut off by the end credits music, and teens play a game of “F, Marry, Kill”, with “F” standing for “f**k” and “eff” being said 3 times. The film has 18 total curses.Sex, Romance and Nudity(3/5): Ned makes a very out-of-nowhere reference to “'looking at p*rn'” during the finale of the film. Peter Parker is frequently called “Penis Parker”. A reference is made to “'screwing the pooch'”. Flirting and kissing. Peter is seen shirtless or in his underwear a few times.Drinking, Drugs and Smoking(2/5): Teenagers drink red cups at a party with unknown beverages in them that could be implied to be alcoholic. Aunt May drinks beer at dinner. Peter is offered a drink, but he refuses because he’s underage.Violence(3/5): The film has less intense violence than most other MCU films, but it’s still present. Many scenes have fighting, use of destructive weapons, and destruction of buildings. A ferry nearly sinks, but Spider-Man manages to save it. The Vulture tests a weapon on a person without warning, and the person disintegrates. Spider-Man saves a group of teenagers that are in danger of dying on a broken elevator. The ending battle is intense, including fistfights between the Vulture and Spider-Man, a building crushing Spider-Man and nearly subduing him, and a fight on a plane that eventually crashes.Positive Messages(4/5): Courage, perseverance, communication, teamwork, responsibility, integrity, respect and friendship are all shown, and Spider-Man learns that he can’t do everything by himself. Also, of course, “With great power comes great responsibility.”Positive Role Models and Representations(3/5): Peter struggles in this film, but he ends up becoming even stronger as a person and as a hero. All of the supporting characters are positive role models as well. The villain’s motivations are understandable and he isn’t portrayed as a one-dimensional evil character.Watching Experience: Quality(opinionated): (My rating)Rated PG-13For sci-fi action violence, some language and some suggestive material.

Why are so many parents freaking out?
I saw this movie when I was 10, I loved it. I see so many parents complaining about the innuendo and the cursing, let me remind you parents about one thing: this movie is literally PG-13 for a reason. You can’t take your 11 year old there and expect him not to hear the word “sh*t” it’s literally meant for ppl 13+. It’s fine for kids younger than that, but it’s still not that big of a deal and you really need to read the MPAA age rating before letting your kids watch the movie. I would recommend this to ppl, as it’s great and it’s sad that parents can’t read an age rating.

Does whatever a spider can.
I agree with my countries rating in this one, watched it when i was 5 and I wasn't traumatized or something like that.Violence & Scariness: Of course, it's a superhero movie, there's gotta be violence, there's some violent acts but there is little to no blood.Sex, Romance & Nudity: there's 1 2-second reference to p*rn, will probably fly over most kids' heads, also some teens have crushes on people in their class, and people kiss.Language: There's uses of s--t, a--hole, bada--, dumba--, damn, middle finger and at the end there's a use of "What the f--k" by May but it's cut before she completely says it.Good movie, 7/10
