How do I find my new LDS ward? ›

There is no minimum or maximum geographical size for a ward: In areas where there are greater numbers of active church members (such as urban and suburban areas in Utah), several wards can exist in only 1 square mile (2.6 km²).

The calendar system shows events for your stake and ward. It can be found on ChurchofJesusChrist.org by clicking on the Resources link in the upper right header. If you are using a mobile device, use the icon of a person inside a circle.

Use the Find a Meetinghouse link at LDS.org (just below the first set of pictures in the Quick Links section. Enter the address and you will be given the name of the ward. Click on the name of the ward and you will find the name of the bishop and his phone number, along with the Sunday meeting schedule.

Single members are divided into two groups: young single adults(YSA), aged from 18–30 and single adults (SA), aged 31 and older. Young men and women who have not married make up a significant portion of Church membership.

Public ward calendars can be seen by everyone in the ward but can be edited only by ward calendar editors or administrators. When editors are added, it is highly recommended that you add them by calling rather than by name. Private calendars can be seen only by members who have been given specific permission.
